The Bowman House and Museum located at 323 N. Main St., Boonsboro, MD, will be open to visitors on Sunday, May 26th between 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for self-guided tours.

This month we will be displaying and discussing early iron hearth cooking utensils. Denny Warrenfeltz will be cooking a variety of dishes over an open hearth, including a baked stuffed ham, early spring garden vegetables and a fresh fruit pie.
In addition, demonstrations of spinning, quilting skills and rug hooking will be taking place on site. At your leisure you may also stroll through our raised bed spring garden to see what vegetables would have been grown in this area during the 19th century.

This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
