The Bowman House and Museum at 323 N. Main St., Boonsboro, MD will be have a “soft” opening on Sunday, May 24th between 1-4 p.m.

Visitors should remember to keep a safe 6 foot distance from others and wearing a mask to protect yourself and others is requested.

The Museum will not be open for inside tours, however it can be viewed from doorways and windows.

Denny will be giving informative Spring Garden discussions and tours of the raised bed garden, to the rear of the museum and potters shed. There will also be a variety of herbs and heirloom vegetables available for sale.

Diane will be demonstrating dipping beeswax candles and discussing the history of candle making during the 18th & 19th century, behind the potters shed. Beeswax candles will be available for purchase.

There is no fee to attend, but donations are encouraged.
