Become an Historical Society Volunteer

The Boonsboro Historical Society is looking for volunteers throughout the year for the Bowman House & Museum located in Boonsboro and for our annual Boonesborough Days Festival, held the second weekend in September annually in Shafer Park.

If you have a special skill set or enjoy engaging with individuals and have a little spare time during the week or weekend to assist, we’d like to hear from you.

• Bowman House and Museum - Docents/Greeters on 4th Sunday of month between Apr-Oct, 2-4:30pm
• Bowman House and Museum - Light yard work, an hour here or there
• Bowman House and Museum - Assist maintaining raised bed vegetable garden
• BBD Festival - Assist on Friday morning with park setup, 8-11am
• BBD Festival -Available to assist at Info Booth
• BBD Festival - Visit vendor booths to help with vendor relations
• Other - I have time or skills to share (explain below)
