Time to Register for the Boone 5K Walk & Run

Celebrate our past and present!

Get your sneakers ready for the Boone 5K Walk & Run, coming up on September 21st at 9am here in fabulous Boonsboro, MD.

This is the third year for the race, which is family (and dog!) friendly and is the perfect way to start your Saturday morning.

Proceeds from the race benefit the Boonsboro Historical Society, which uses the race funds to support local student programs advancing historical education and preserving town heritage.

  • Adult registration – $15
  • Youth (5 – 12 years old) – $10
  • Tri-Blend Tshirts (S-XL) – $10 or (XXL)  – $12.50

Race Info:

The 3.1 mile course starts in Shafer Memorial Park and highlights the beautiful past and present of our town – including Boonsboro Cemetery, Sycamore Run, Shafer Park Nature Trail and a chance to glimpse the portion of Boonsboro Cemetery behind Trinity Reformed Church where town founder William Boone lays at rest.

Time:

  • Race packet pickup 8 – 8:45am
  • Race at 9am
  • Post Race Festivities – 10:30am

Gather some friends or coworkers and form a team! It’s more fun AND you save on the total registration fee.

  • Team of 3-5 – save $3
  • Team of 6-9 – save $8
  • Team of 10+ – save $15
